Science Expo:The SBPTO hosts a Science Expo each year for all students from grades K-5. This year the Science Expo will be held on Saturday, March 19th, 2011. The purpose of the Science Expo is to provide students with an opportunity to investigate something about the world that interests them. We hope that it will be an exciting experience for students to do their projects and share them with their families, teachers and friends. The Science Expo is noncompetitive, and each student's science project will be evaluated on its own merit. An interviewer will meet with each child and ask questions about the project. A Certificate of Recognition and a ribbon will be presented to each student who participates. Click on this link to find more information. Staff Appreciation Dinner:The SBPTO sponsors this special event in May to show our teachers, aides, and staff how much we appreciate their efforts on behalf of our children. ALL COOKS, BAKERS, HELPERS AND FUNDS ARE NEEDED! Parents and families help out by cooking and serving the dinner. The staff are able to relax and have some fun. Often there is enough food that they can bring home dinner to their families. |
