GIFT-A-BOOK PROGRAM

If you are interested in gifting a book to the Stony Brook Library...The Gift-a-Book program is a perfect way for your family to leave a mark in the library of Stony Brook Elementary School. Use Gift-a-Book to commemorate events in your life, such as:

  • Honoring a teacher;
  • Celebrating the completion of a terrific school year!

The book of your choice will be marked with a nameplate, including your choice of wording, and kept on Stony Brook's library shelves for years to come and for all the children of Stony Brook to enjoy.

Stop in the library any time to fill out your Donator Form and/or speak with Media Specialist, Ms. Marci Thomas, 730-4824 x1391 or call Gift-a-Book Chair, Liz Gambino, 730-0370, to request a form to be sent home to you or with any other questions. Thank you

Stop & Shop A+ Bonus Bucks For Stony Brook!!!

We're very excited to announce that Stony Brook has renewed our registration for the Stop & Shop A+ Bonus Bucks Program for 2010-11. A+ Bonus Bucks are points that accrue with each purchase using the Stop & Shop Card (their customer rewards card - not a credit card). The points are then converted to dollars for our school. Every time you shop at Stop & Shop using your Stop & Shop Card, you help earn CASH for our school. This is one of those great fundraisers that is easy to participate in and costs you nothing!!!

What do you do to participate?

  1. Register your Stop & Shop Card by:
    Logging on to https://www.stopandshop.com/our_stores/bonus_bucks/designate_school.htm?execution=e2s1 to register online
    OR
    Dialing 1-877-275-2758 to register your card over the phone

    Our School ID# is 06461

    2. Please note that even if you were a supporter last year, you must register your card again this year.

TARGET:

If you don't have one already, please consider investing in a Target credit card. Here′s how:

  • When you apply for the credit card make sure you list ″Stony Brook Elementary School″ and the school will receive 1% of your total purchase price every time you shop and use your credit card at Target.
  • It's that easy. You can even shop online with Target and use that same credit card.
  • If you already have a Target credit card and need to change the school name to Stony Brook, just call 1-800-659-2396.

UNITED WAY:

When you donate to the United Way through your workplace you can choose to designate the Stony Brook Elementary School PTO as the recipient of your donation.

To sign-up all you need to do is specify Stony Brook Elementary School PTO as your chosen charitable organization on your donation form. Stony Brook PTO's charitable organization number is 068340.
